So we had close friends give us a bunch of pomegranates last week. The problem is, besides cutting them in half, and eating the seeds, what do you do with them. I have even found pomegranate seeds in the frozen food section at Trader Joe's.
So the key question is what do you do with them? Do you only use the juice? What do you do with the seeds? Can you do anything with the rind? Can you do anything with them?
So I am introducing a new feature to this blog... the ingredient challenge. The rules are simple, you must come up with a recipe using pomegranate. Extra credit is given to the recipe made entirely of items in your pantry.
